Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
The Czech company Wendell electronics, operating in electronic manufacturing services, has announced that it is to create between 600 and 800 new jobs with the expansion of its production capacity by March 2013. The new posts are for high skilled workers to be employed in the development centre and production facility. The company is located in Lanškroun and currently employs 200. As of February 2008, there is no information on when employment at the company's facility will commence.
