Lek, a pharmaceutical company from Ljubljana and part of the Swiss-based Sandoz group, has announced that it is to create 300 new jobs with the development of a new factory for the packaging of pharmaceuticals in Lendava, in the North-East Slovenia. The construction will begin at the end of 2008 and the total investment is EUR 50 million. Lek has another pharmaceutical factory in Lendava, which employs approximately 300.
