Baltic Champignons, a company engaged in mushroom-growing as well as in the production of compost for mushroom-growing and providing services to other mushroom growers, intends to expand its activity and to create 100 new jobs. A new subdivision for mushroom growing will be established in Joniskis in the middle of 2008. The investments in the newly established unit will amount to more than 20 million LTL. At present the company employs 300 workers.
