European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Festo, a global provider of solutions for the automation of technical processes, announced the creation of 300 new jobs by the end of 2008 at the production sites in Esslingen-Berkheim, Ostfildern and St. Ingbert-Rohrbach. The company attributed the business expansion to the rising demand for its products. The company employs around 12,000 worldwide. As of February 2008 there is no information on the number employed at the three production sites.
