Pierre et Vacances, a group that operates in the leisure and tourism sector, has announced that it is to create 700 new jobs in Roybon with the development of a new leisure park that will be run by the holiday village operator Center Parcs. The jobs will be created between January 2011 and December 2011. The new centre will include a forest of 100 hectares, 4,000 beds, and a covered swimming area of 5,000 square metres. The site will be the fifth Center Parcs leisure park in France. Pierre et Vacances currently employs 8,600 internationally.
