Description
Conergy, a German group that produces solar energy machinery, has announced that it is to cut approximately 100 jobs across Germany. The group employs 965 in Germany, and management at the group have stated that the job losses are a consequence of the group’s decision to stop operating in certain commercial lines. The announcement of the job losses also follows the group’s announcement of its earnings forecast for the 2007 financial year. As of December 2007, there is no information on when the job losses will be implemented by.
