Description
Comotec, a French firm that manufactures parts for spectacles, has announced that it is to cut 129 jobs at its site in Morez. The firm employs 222 at the Morez plant. The job losses will be implemented between April and July 2008, and the firm has stated that the work will be moved to a site in China. Management at the firm have stated that the job losses are expedient due to the consistent financial losses made by the firm in recent years. Comotec is a part of the Italian group Mazzucchelli.
