Lenovo Technology, a Chinese computer manufacturer, has announced that it is to create 1,200 new jobs in Legnickie Pole with the development of a new site. The new site will produce computers, and will involve an investment of 16 million EUR. As of August 2008, employment at the new site has commenced; however there is no information on when the new jobs will be created by. The decision to invest in Legnickie Pole follows an initial decision by the firm to construct the plant in Krzywa that has now been abandoned.
