Description
Michelin, the multi-national group that manufactures tyres, is to cut 50 jobs at its site in Stoke-on-Trent. The Stoke site employs 400, and the jobs will be lost in a department that supplies the group’s plant in Northern Ireland. Management at the firm have stated that they are looking for volunteers for redundancy. As of November 2007, there is no information on when the job losses will be implemented by.
