Kansas is a Danish firm established in 1952 and operating in the workwear business. In the '70s the company experimented financial problems and in the '80s it was merged in the Swedish group Fristads Kansas Group. In 2015, some of the manufacturing activities located in Denmark were moved to Borås (Sweden). From February 2018, Kasan was organized as an independent firm within the Fristads Kansas group, directly managing its own brand. The decision has been taken to strengthen the image of the brand, and to attract new customers. Manufacturing activities were then relocated in Denmark (Odense).
