Description
Gorenje Indop, a producer of industrial equipment and a subsidiary of Gorenje Group, is to create 100 new jobs in Šoštanj. The firm currently employs 126 in Šoštanj, and will move into a new premises prior to the new workers being recruited. Armoured vehicles for the Slovenian army will be produced at the new site. The Finnish firm Patria originally won the contract for the production of these vehicles, but have since sub-contracted part of the production of these vehicles to Gorenje Indop. It is expected that the new jobs will be created by 6th November 2007.
