Description

Scania, the Swedish maker of trucks and buses, plans to build a bus factory in Redzików (in the Słupska Special Economic Zone), employing 1,400 persons. Scania already employs 670 workers at another Polish bus factory, in Słupsk. Scania has come to the conclusion that the latter facility is not suitable for modernisation and that it makes better business sense to build an entirely new plant.
