European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Percanova, a Spanish multi-national company, has announced that it is to create 200 new jobs in Mira with the construction of an aquaculture unit. The announcement of the new development follows the signing of an agreement between the firm and the Portuguese Government. It has also been reported that the new site will create 600 new indirect jobs. As of October 2007, there is no information on when the new jobs will be created by.
