European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Aero Vodochody, a Czech producer of aircrafts, is to create approximately 150 new jobs at Vodochody and Prague-Radotín. The creation of the new jobs follows the firm agreeing a five-year contract worth 1 billion CZK to supply French company Latécoere Toulouse with components to produce commercial jets. The new jobs will be created between 2008 and 2012, and the jobs will involve the hired employees working on the production of sub-systems and doors for the commercial jets Embraer 170 and Embraer 190. Aero Vodochody currently employs 1200 in the Czech Republic.
