Intrall Polska, the Lublin-based manufacturer of light trucks, is planning to dismiss approximately 300 employees as from 1st November 2007. Only 50 employees will remain. Intrall has discontinued mass production of Lublin light trucks and of Honker all-terrain vehicles for the Polish military sector about six months ago. The company ran into debt vis a vis several hundred different establishments. Intrall’s board of directors has filed for bankruptcy and for liquidation of the company; the competent court is scheduled to consider this application on 11 October 2007.
