The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Enfer, a firm that operates in the animal biotechnology sector, is to create 120 new jobs in Kildare by April 2009 with the expansion of its diagnostic and research facility in Kildare. The Kildare site currently employs 120, and the expansion will involve the development of a diagnostics unit that will test for a variety of animal diseases. Enfer was founded in Ireland in 1990, and exports its products to countries such as Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy and the U.S.
