Description
Canon, the multi-national manufacturer of electronic equipment, is to cease the production of copy machines at its Gießen site with the loss of 250 jobs. The firm is to 'offshore' production to China. 400 are currently employed at the Gießen plant. As of September 2007, there is no information as to when the job losses will be implemented.
