Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Denmarks' medical device manufacturer Coloplast has inaugurated its new manufacturing plant in Nyírbátor, Northeast Hungary. Coloplast develops, manufactures and markets medical disposables helping people overcome a physical impairment. The 20,000 sq-metre new unit in Nyírbátor is the Coloplast's second factory in Hungary. Coloplast’s two Hungarian factories will produce €100 million products annually, representing the most significant production capacity of the mother company. The investment will create at least 600 jobs in Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg county by spring 2009, production will take place on . Recruitment and training started at the beginning of 2007 in rented buildings in Nyírbátor and at the 6 year old Tatabánya plant.
