Description
Stival Automotive, a Czech firm that produces seats for cars, is to create 250 new jobs at its site in Veselí nad Moravou. The site currently employs 70. The creation of the new jobs follows the firm winning a seven-year contract with automobile producer Land Rover that will lead to a 30 million CZK investment in new machinery at the Veselí nad Moravou site. It is expected that the new jobs will provide opportunities for the 300 workers in Veselí nad Moravou that were made redundant by footwear producer Gastrolux in May 2007.
