Description
Škoda Auto, the Czech manufacturer of motor vehicles, is to create 400 new jobs in Mladá Boleslav with the expansion of its development centre in the region. 1,400 are currently employed at the site, and 100 of the new staff are expected to be taken on by the end of 2007. The expansion of the new site is expected to be finished by the end of 2008. Škoda Auto also announced the creation of 2000 new jobs on an as yet unspecified date at its automobile producing site in Vrchlabí in September 2007.
