Description
Blizzard Entertainment, a U.S based software firm, is to create 100 new jobs in Cork with the development of a new site. The firm, which develops and publishes entertainment software, is to set up an European customer support centre in Cork that will create 50 jobs initially, and that will employ 100 by September 2010.
The firm, who are headquartered in Irvine in California, produce online role-playing digital titles such as World of Warcraft, Diablo and StarCraft. The firm's President, Mike Morhaime, has expressed confidence that the Cork office will strengthen the firm’s support offerings in Europe.
