European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Zollner Electronik, a German multi-national that operates in the electronics sector, has announced that it is to create 450 new jobs at its site in Satu Mare. The firm currently employs 250 at Satu Mare and the 450 new jobs come as a result of an expansion of production at the site that involves an investment of 10 million EUR. Manfred Zollner, Executive President of the group, has stated publicly the commitment of the group to continue investing in Satu Mare and has also praised the workforce at the site. Electronic components and other electronic equipment are produced at the Satu Mare plant and are then sold to firms that include Philips, Hella, Automotive Lichting, Fujitsu, Siemens and Mielle. Zollner Electronik employ 6,000 across the globe.
