Description
Škoda Auto, the Czech car manufacturer, is to create 2,000 new jobs with the expansion of its site in Vrchlabí. 1,400 are currently employed at the site. The firm have not yet announced when the 2,000 new workers will be employed by, but it is thought that they will be taken on gradually over a period of time. Škoda Auto estimate that the plant at Vrchlabí will produce one million cars a year by 2010. Škoda Auto is a part of the Volkswagen Group.
