European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Hutchison, a subsidiary of the French group Total, has opened a new site in Łódź that will employ 400 by 2011. The new site will produce precision and anti-vibration seals for the automotive industry. Hutchison also operate another plant in Poland that produces chassis and transmission seals and employs 600. Hutchison products are used in the production of Renault, Audi, BMW and Nissan models.
