Celanese, an American firm that manufactures chemicals, is to create 250 new jobs in Budapest with the opening of an unit that will provide finance and accounting services to the group's operations in the U.S, Mexico and Western Europe. An investment of 15-20 million USD will be made in the new centre. The centre is due to open in October 2007, with an initial staffing of 40 to 50 finance and accounting workers. The 250 jobs will be created by October 2010, but at least 175 will be created by the end of 2008.
