Hanil Electronics, a Korean firm that produces components and equipment for the electronics producer Samsung, is to create 3,400 new jobs in Oradea with the construction of a new site. The new site will involve an investment in the region of 30-40 million EUR and will produce Samsung flat screen computer monitors and television sets. The site will become the first LCD producing factory in Romania. Hanil Electronics first entered the Romanian market in 2007 and also operates a plant in Santandrei at which 100 are employed.
