European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Maxam Corporation, a firm that produces pyrotechnic supplies for the mining industry, is to create 100 new jobs in Serby in the Lower Silesia region of Poland. The new jobs will be created as a result of the construction of a new warehouse and logistics base that will support the firm's other operations. As of September 2007 there is no information as to when employment at the new site will commence.
