Description

Multidisplay, a manufacturer of electronic valves and tubes, is to cut 570 jobs at its Hranice site. The plant at Hranice employs 990 and produces tubes for electronic equipment such as televisions and radios. The facilities at the site will be converted so that LCD monitors will be produced in the future.The redundancies will be implemented from the end of August 2007. Multidisplay is a former subsidiary of LG.Philips Displays and is now owned by the group CTP.
