Description

I.T. firm AppLabs has announced the opening of an office in Dublin with the potential creation of up to 100 jobs by August 2008. The firm says it hopes to follow the opening of its Dublin office with a Dublin-based testing facility that will potentially employ up to 100 testing consultants and engineers. The opening of the firm's Dublin site is part of AppLabs expansion into the European market. Mr Sashi Reddi, chairman and CEO of the company, stated:

‘Ireland is a significant market in European terms and the opening of our office there is a natural progression of our business plan and reinforces our commitment to the European marketplace. It is an obvious step forward for us after listening to our customers' demands.’

U.S-based AppLabs is a global company which specialises in the development of I.T. solutions such as quality management and testing and certification, and is primarily geared towards the banking and financial sectors. Customers of the company include American Airlines, Royal Bank of Scotland and Hewlett Packard.
