Swansea Leisure Centre is to create employment for 100. The centre is due to open in December 2007, and has had 32 million GBP invested in its development. Senior management posts are currently being advertised whilst the centre will attempt to recruit office and catering staff, sports instructors and life guards from September 2007. The centre is re-opening after it closed in 2003 in the wake of a poor structural report. Many of the employees were re-deployed when the centre closed in 2003, whilst others took voluntary redundancy.
