Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Norwegian bio-ethanol firm Global Green One is to build EUR 101 million bio-ethanol factory in Békéscsaba, Southern Hungary. GG-One utilizes prime crop and residuals from agricultural and forest production and turns it into economic bio fuels. Construction of the facility is to begin in April 2008, after obtaining the necessary permits and operation is expected to start in January 2009. The factory would give employment to 200 people altogether, including 100 in logistics. GG-One plans to open other bio-ethanol facilities in other parts of the country in the future: Kalocsa, Central Hungary, and Szombathely and Kõszeg in Western Hungary.
