Description
Star Glass SA, a glass manufacturer based in Targu Jiu, has been declared bankrupt and is to consequently dismiss its 200 employees by August 31st. The 200 redundancies follow the firm dismissing 100 employees in July. Managers at the firm have stated that the plant will be closed by the end of August 2007. The 100 employees who were dismissed in July are currently receiving redundancy payments.
