Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
In July 2007, Jakob Hatteland Assembly, the Norwegian producer of liquid crystal projectors and screens, will begin construction of a new factory in Koszalin that is set to employ 120. Completion of the factory is scheduled for December 2007. Jakob Hatteland Assembly is a member of the Hatteland Display group of Norway, a producer of computer components and screens for warships. The firm’s LCD units are also installed in modern vessels for civilian use.
