Opal Property Developments, the Australian developer specialising in the renovation and revitalisation of old buildings, plans to hire 200 Romanian employees to build 400 loft apartments in Łódź. The lofts will be built in a historical yarn factory, part of the unique production and residential complex built in the 19th century by the industrial potentate Karol Scheibler. Opal’s renovation work will be completed in late 2008.
