European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
On 27 June 2007 Gantois, a French metal processing group, announced to the work's council that 123 jobs will be cut between October 2007 and October 2008 in its factory in Saint-Dié (Vosges). The group has financial problems and had already cut some 110 jobs since 2004. Gantois is a French manufacturer of fabrics and metal cloths, perforated sheets, nettings and finished products.
