Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
German group Mühlbauer Holding are to invest 400 million SKK in Slovakia and create around 200 jobs in the process. Mühlbauer Technologies, a subsidiary of Mühlbauer Holding, will establish a production as well as a development centre in Industrial Park Krškany, near to Nitra. Construction work on the centres is due to start in the autumn of 2007. Various forms of cash dispenser cards are to be produced in the new plant. The production is to be based on the use of sophisticated safety technology, and the output will be tailored to individual customer demand. The employment effect start and timeline of the new investment have not yet been announced.
