Description
The Touax Group, Europe's third largest lessor of modular buildings, announced on 29 June 2007 that it will open its first industrial assembly site in France at Mignières (Eure et Loir), in October 2007. 250 jobs are expected to be created between September and October 2007. The Touax Group has decided to establish this modular building assembly centre in France in order to support the growth of its modular division. The aim of the division is to become the key provider of modular solutions in Western Europe. The project will also enable the division to improve its profitability by both reducing its equipment purchasing costs and standardising its fleet. The Touax Group provides operational leasing of shipping containers, modular buildings, river barges and freight railcars for a global customer base, both for its own account and on behalf of investors.
