European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Calamus Rotan, the Polish producer of rattan cane furniture, will build a factory in Niepołomice (in the Kraków Special Economic Zone) and hire 100 persons to work there. Other items in the Calamus Rotan catalogue are made of teak and other exotic woods, and they are finished with seaweed and banana leaves. The company maintains branches in Lithuania, Russia, Slovakia, and Ukraine.
