Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Amber Furniture, the manufacturer of furniture, as a result of decreased profitability, will be closed down. All workers will lose their jobs during the next three months. The first group of 298 workers includes 207 wood processing workers, 15 masters, mechanics, quality controllers, carpenters and others. Administration workers will be the last to be dismissed.
