European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Campofrio, the Spanish manufacturer of pork and meat food, announced on 8 June 2007 its plans to invest more than 12 million Euro in a new plant of meat processing in Burgos. The new unit will be located near the slaughterhouse Carnes Selectas, also owned by Campofrio, which will supply the new plant with 80,000 tons of pork meat. The investment is expected to create 120 new jobs.
