European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The Brandl-Ro company, part of the German Group Brandl GmbH, manufacturer of motor vehicles components announced that by the end of 2008 it would hire 300 persons in the site of Sibiu.
According to the company representatives, the number of employees will increase to 650 as result of the strong expansion of the market.
For the first quarter of 2007 the company turnover increased by 30% as compared with the same period in the previous year. In 2006, the turnover of the company in Sibiu was EUR 8.5 million.
Until now the company has invested over EUR 8 million in Sibiu.
