European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Amphia Hospital announced on 26 April 2007 that it will cut 255 jobs before the end of the year in Breda and Oosterhout. The reasons behind the decision are the cuts in financial contributions from the government and the liberalisation of the healthcare sector. The board of the hospital has promised the unions that it will provide them with more information. The hospital will foster the voluntary exit of personnel but there is no information available on the specific measures that will be adopted.
