On 24 April 2007, the advertising agency BBDO announced its plans to create 600 jobs in 2007. BBDO currently employs around 4,300 employees in Germany. The advertising agency earned a gross income of 121 million Euros in 2006 compared to 111 million Euros in 2005. The job creation is part of its expansion strategy which already saw the creation of 600 new jobs in 2006.
