Description
The electronic equipment manufacturer Sanyo Hungary Kft started the production of cooling units for air conditioners at its plant in Dorog, Northern Hungary. Sanyo Hungary was established in September 1999 and the company has produced rechargeable batteries and HIT photovoltaic modules at the Dorog unit. The new facility currently employs 100 people but the number of workforce will be gradually increased to 350 by the end of 2008. The new 8000 square metre assembly hall was built at a cost of 4.5 billion ($25 million) HUF.
