Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.

Alstom Transport, a branch of the French multinational company Alstom which is active in the railway manufacturing and service sector, announced on 13 April 2007 the expansion of its manufacturing activities in Petite-ForĂȘt, in the north of France. The company currently employs 1,100 people at the site and it is expecting to create 200 new jobs between April and December 2007 following a rise in orders.
