European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Alstom Transport, a branch of the French multinational company Alstom which is active in the railway manufacturing and service sector, announced on 13 April 2007 the expansion of its manufacturing activities in Petite-Forêt, in the north of France. The company currently employs 1,100 people at the site and it is expecting to create 200 new jobs between April and December 2007 following a rise in orders.
