Description
Foxconn is the registred trade name of Hon Hai |Precision Industry, a global leader in the design, manufacture and distribution of advanced electronics and computer components. The company from Taiwan, operating in the Czech Republic since 2000, reported the intention to increase the current workforce of over 4,000 people by another 2,000 workers at its plant located in the Pardubice city. The company has also announced its further business expansion and is now looking for a suitable area where the second plant is to be built with an investment of 100 million USD. The plant focused on the production of LCD monitors and computer components should create up to 5,000 new jobs.
