Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.

High street healthcare retailer Alliance Boots is to shed 300 jobs from a manufacturing site in Nottingham. Bosses said the loss of a major skincare product contract meant the manufacturing arm of Boots in Beeston would have to be "streamlined".

The losses are expected to happen over an 18-month period.
