European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Tican, the Danish meat processing company, announced that the creation of 100 new jobs in its subsidiary Zakłady Mięsne Nove following the reorganisation of its European operations. At the end of 2007, Tican was divided into Tican Fresh Meat, a meat producer, and Tican Processing, a processing company. In May 2007, some of Tican’s production operations hereto pursued in Denmark were moved to Zakłady Mięsne Nove, in the community of Nowe by Grudziądz. Zakłady Mięsne Nove employed 330 prior the reorganisation of Tican’s production activities.
