European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
“We want to be more aggressive” says Laurent Goutard, Managing Director of Komerční banka, in an interview. Komerční banka is the third largest bank in the Czech Republic in terms of total assets. It is part of the Société Générale group and currently has 7,500 employees . In 2006 the company recruited over 1,000 new employees and plans to extend the network of 378 branches throughout the country by 20 and to hire at least 1,200 people in 2007.
