Description
Novem Žalec is part of German owned multinational company Novem (Novem Car Interior Design). The company produces various products for the interior equipment of cars in the medium and high price range. Novem Žalec produces for companies like Rover, Audi, Renault and Volvo. The activity of the unit increased considerably in 2006 due to the relocation of production from Germany and Italy. As a result of this, the number of employees has increased from 526 at the beginning of 2006 to 642 in March 2007. It is expected that the number of employees will further increase but more precise figures are not available yet.
